With 20 years of successful business experience in hand and having established well-cultivated community relations, Ms. DeCicco became a repeat recipient of various NJAR Circle of Excellence Awards over several years of her work with Coldwell Banker in Maplewood/Short Hills, New Jersey. During her ten-year tenure there, she was a relocation specialist for major international corporations including Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, Mondelez, JP Morgan Chase, AIG and Cadbury.

In 2007 Ellen’s son, Peter DeCicco, and together they founded The DeCicco Group in 2012. Specializing in seller and buyer agency as well as landlord and tenant representation in Essex, Morris, Somerset and Union Counties, Ellen brings deep market intelligence, artful negotiation skills, meticulous planning, unwavering integrity and a passion for excellence to the entire process of selling to securing homes for clients.

Born and raised in South Orange, New Jersey to a family of eight children, with family history extending back over 100 years in the area, Ellen attended Upsala College in East Orange. She is an avid reader, an art lover and collector, and played classical piano for 10 years. A former athlete who ran many 5K and 10K races in the past, she funnels her love of challenge into other endeavors such as learning new languages. She lives with her husband and together they have three adult sons and five grandchildren.
